Well, one of the high moments was the arrival of this month’s CalExotics sex toy to review; part of the fun is we never know what they’re sending. So…we got a rabbit-style vibe, a pink one, part of their new vibrator line, designed and priced for beginners.

This is a pretty nice-looking single motor vibe, made from a fleshy TPR material, with a matte-finish ABS cap, bottom push button, and a silver plated ABS trim ring. The head, shaft, and clit nub of this vibe are slightly ribbed, and overall, the molding is very well-executed. Personally I don’t understand bling trim on vibrators, but then, I’m pretty much a “form follows function” kind of designer. The pushbutton is easy to operate.
As we always do (and so should you…), I washed the vibe first with soap and water (carefully, since it’s not waterproof), and Bianca took it for later solo flight. Flash forward (he waits patiently…), and I got her report. “It bends!”, she said. Sure enough, the shaft can be bent (a lot…) in two places, and formed into just the shape you like. I do have to add though, that bending the vibe is very noisy and feels forced, like it could break easily. But bendability wasn’t enough to win her over, because something else was lacking - even though the vibrations are relatively strong, the clit nub just didn’t produce enough buzz for her. A second strike was that this vibe has only two, always-on, speeds, and Bianca prefers pulsating vibrations. Somehow…though…with two out…she managed to fully enjoy herself…!
Even though the Flexi Rocker has not earned a coveted place in our vibrator drawer, your needs and tastes may differ, and if this is your first vibrator, you wouldn’t know about pulsating patterns yet…! This appears to be a good-quality stimulator (as long as that flex mechanism lasts…), priced competitively, and especially with the shape-shifting feature, it’s a delight-full introduction to rabbit-style vibrators.
